VIDEO: Cut Melanoma, Keep the Tan

New data from the Minnesota Department of Health shows Melanoma rates are on the rise since 2005. Exposure to ultraviolet light over a lifetime can increase risk, and public health experts are in a campaign to educate about the risks from tanning beds. The Affordable Care Act imposes an excise tax on tanning salon customers.

Melanie Richards founed Go Glow, a mobile spray tan company in reaction to more customers seeking alternatives in a largely preventable public health problem.
