VIDEO: Fair Trade, Not Free Trade

If the world's richest corporations were negotiating a multi-national trade deal that will impact millions of workers, consumers and taxpayers, you'd want to know about it, right? The United States is working with 11 other Pacific Rim nations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), what could be the largest trade agreement in U.S. history. However, "the only people at the negotiating table are corporate lobbyists and [select] government officials – not the groups fighting for workers, public health, free speech, environmental regulations and consumer protections," according to TakeAction Minnesota, who helped organize a march in downtown Minneapolis this week to highlight why the TPP is a bad deal for Minnesota workers.
