VIDEO: Did We Learn Our Lesson?

The recent economic recession and slow recovery has kept consumer spending down in recent years. In a recent Tuesday Talk, we asked you if we had learned our lesson from unsustainable spending and borrowing.  Does the way forward involve a return to more consumer spending or has the recession permanently altered our purchasing habits?


We asked some holiday shoppers getting last minute gifts before the Christmas holiday if they were spending any differently, and an applied economics professor who tracks consumer spending trends.
