VIDEO: Creating Jobs and a Strong Recovery

A predictable scenario is likely to play out over the next few weeks. President Obama’s jobs plan will likely face strong conservative criticism for investing in needed infrastructure that will put people back to work. Conservatives instead will call for some form of corporate tax cuts and while advocating policies that reduce worker rights and protections, and slash environmental regulations.

In order to get this country progressing toward a strong recovery, Congressional conservatives must be willing to find compromise on the infrastructure investments we need. We’ve tried the corporate tax cuts route, what businesses are workers with money in their pockets willing to start spending again.
