VIDEO: A Morning at the Market

It's tough for small grocers to sell low-costs fruits and vegetables because they can't buy in the same volume as supermarkets.  For people in low-income areas, this creates food deserts, where the cost-effective alternative is processed foods.  MN 2020 Undergraduate Research Fellow Senta Knuth follows one couple on its search for produce.
