Imagine watching your home value plummet from near $200,000 to $47,000. That was generally the case for median value homeowners on the north side of Minneapolis during the recession's boom and bust. Similar fluctuations played out in Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center, along with a number of other metro-area communities. Prices are back to the $75,000-$80,000 range places like the Camden neighborhood, where we pick up this video examining how North Minneapolis has recovered from a foreclosure crisis and deadly tornado.
