Kaye Thompson Peters, Fellow
Kaye Thompson Peters came to teaching after covering politics and education for newspapers in Texas and Maryland, including The Houston Chronicle, The Washington Post and The Baltimore Sun. She was also a columnist for the Star Tribune. She has a bachelors of arts in journalism from the University of Maryland and received her teaching license in English Language Arts through the University of St. Thomas Master of Arts in Teaching program. She has been teaching writing and literature at St. Paul Central High School since January 1998.
Kaye lives in St. Paul and has three daughters who attended St. Paul Public Schools. The youngest graduated from Central High School in 2009.
