Alex Christensen

A native of Burnsville, Alex is avid about ensuring a strong and vibrant Minnesota for generations to come. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Economics and Political Science. While there, he was a Fellow at both the Center for New Institutional Social Sciences and Americans for Energy Leadership, where he studied the impact of renewable energy policy on wind power development across the world and in the U.S.

Alex is passionate about understanding the economy, maximizing private-public partnership, and the role of renewable energy in Minnesota’s future. As a resident of Uptown Minneapolis, he enjoys riding down the Midtown Greenway on his bicycle, cooking and baking, and playing soul music on his bass guitar.
